Moist coffee cake batter with yogurt, topped with a perfectly sweet brown sugar and cinnamon topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup softened butter
  • Cake:
  • cooking spray
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 0.75 cup softened butter
  • 0.33333334326744 cup milk
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Combine the brown sugar, walnuts, pecans, flour, butter, and cinnamon in a bowl until you achieve a crumbly topping; set aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and generously coat a fluted tube pan, such as a Bundt® pan, with cooking spray.
  • Mix together sugar, yogurt, butter, eggs, milk, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl using an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add flour and mix until combined to form a thick batter. Spread half of the batter in the pan, sprinkle half of the brown sugar-cinnamon topping, layer the remaining batter, and finish with the remaining topping.
  • Bake for 45 to 50 minutes in the preheated oven until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes on a wire rack, then invert onto a cooling rack and place brown sugar-cinnamon side up on a plate to serve.
