Create a fun Back to School Pancake Bar for a morning filled with delicious creativity for the kids.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 4 oz (half of 8-oz package) 1/3-less-fat cream cheese (Neufchâtel), softened
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • Hazelnut spread with cocoa
  • Miniature chocolate chips
  • Yogurt-covered raisins
  • Candy sprinkles
  • Almonds
  • Granola
  • Shredded coconut
  • Fresh berries
  • Honey
  • Maple syrup
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 200°F.
  • For Cheesecake Spread: In a medium bowl, beat cream until medium peaks form. In a separate bowl, stir cream cheese until soft, then blend in sugar and gently fold in the whipped cream until well mixed. Refrigerate covered until needed.
  • Combine Pancake ingredients until fully incorporated. Cook pancakes on a nonstick pan or griddle over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Transfer to a parchment-lined cookie sheet and keep warm in the oven.
  • Prepare an array of toppings in cups, bowls, and small pitchers. Create a pancake bar with the toppings, cheesecake spread, and warm pancakes. Serve with ample milk and orange juice for a refreshing accompaniment.
