Kickstart your morning with a wholesome and comforting breakfast bowl.
Ingredients:
  • 2 slices bacon, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup Cascadian Farm™ Farm Stand Harvest organic honey, almond and chia granola
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon real maple syrup
Instructions:
  • Cook bacon in an 8-inch skillet over medium heat until crisp, about 5 to 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  • In a small saucepan, bring milk, granola, and salt to a boil over medium heat. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add half of the crispy bacon pieces and mix well.
  • Heat the bacon drippings in the skillet over low heat, then crack the egg into the skillet. Cover and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until the egg yolk is firm.
  • Transfer the warm granola mixture into a serving bowl or mini cast iron skillet. Add the fried egg, shredded cheese, and remaining bacon pieces on top. Drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
