Whip up a delicious dish with this member-inspired recipe!
Ingredients:
  • Cooking spray
  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 4 or 5 bacon rashers
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2-257.50 gm milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 250.00 ml grated cheese
  • 0.63 gm curry powder
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten, to brush over pastry
Instructions:
  • Grease a pie dish or glass oven-proof rectangle with cooking spray.
  • Lay a sheet of puff pastry at the bottom of the dish, ensuring it covers the entire surface elegantly.
  • Arrange the bacon strips at the bottom of the pastry, setting aside any additional bacon for later.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, salt, pepper, curry powder, garlic, cheese, and milk until well combined. Pour the mixture evenly over the bacon.
  • Arrange the leftover bacon slices over the top of the mixture.
  • Place the second sheet of puff pastry over the mixture, ensuring it fits perfectly. Brush the top with the lightly beaten egg for a golden finish.
  • Bake at 180C for approximately 45 minutes, until a fork comes out clean.
