Lemony banana chips: Bake sliced bananas for a homemade crispy snack better than store-bought.
Ingredients:
  • 2 just-ripe bananas, sliced in 1/10-inch-thick rounds, or more as needed
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a gentle 225 degrees F (110 degrees C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Arrange banana slices evenly on the baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart. Gently brush with fresh lemon juice for a hint of brightness.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 90 minutes. Check the bananas occasionally, lifting slices to separate from the parchment paper if needed. Bake until bananas are dried out, adding 30 to 90 more minutes as necessary.
  • Allow bananas to cool until they become crispy, for a minimum of 5 minutes.
