Try these delightful baked banana doughnuts - perfect for breakfast or dessert! Enjoy plain or with a luscious Nutella® topping.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 0.33333334326744 cup low-fat Greek banana yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly coat a 12-cavity doughnut pan with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together sugar and eggs until smooth and creamy using an electric mixer. Mix in bananas, yogurt, oil, and vanilla extract until well combined. Add whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; mix until fully incorporated. Transfer the batter to a resealable plastic bag.
  • Cut a corner of the bag and squeeze batter into the greased doughnut pan.
  • Bake doughnuts in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes until the bottoms are lightly browned. Then, transfer them from the pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
