Savory baked frittata loaded with ham, bell pepper, onion, and Cheddar cheese for a classic Denver omelet flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 onion, chopped
  • 0.5 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped cooked ham
  • 8 eggs
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400°F (200°C) and generously grease a 10-inch round baking dish.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add onion and bell pepper, stirring occasionally, until softened (about 5 minutes). Incorporate ham and cook until heated through (another 5 minutes).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until smooth. Mix in Cheddar cheese and ham, then season with salt and black pepper. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • Bake in a preheated oven until the eggs are golden brown and puffy, takes about 25 minutes. Serve warm.
