Baked five spice lamb cutlets

Quick and tasty lamb cutlets with a crunchy crumb that kids will devour.
Ingredients:
  • 125.00 ml dried multigrain breadcrumbs
  • 12.00 gm sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp Chinese five spice powder
  • 20.00 ml finely chopped fresh chives
  • 12 lamb cutlets, trimmed
  • canola oil cooking spray
  • crunchy Asian salad, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced and line a baking tray with baking paper. In a large, shallow bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, sesame seeds, five spice, chives, salt, and pepper.
  • In a bowl, beat the egg. Dip lamb in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture. Arrange on a tray. Lightly spray cutlets with oil. Bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and fully cooked. Serve with salad.
