Delicious baked halibut with zesty Dijon, lemon, butter, and crispy panko crust for a perfect healthy meal.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1.5 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup chicken stock, or as needed
  • 2 (8 ounce) fillets halibut
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) to get things cooking!
  • Combine panko bread crumbs with melted butter in a bowl, ensuring they are thoroughly mixed. Set aside.
  • Cover the base of an oven-proof skillet with chicken stock and place halibut fillets in the skillet.
  • Drizzle fillets with refreshing lemon juice, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Coat each fillet with tangy Dijon mustard, then press on breadcrumb mixture.
  • Bake the fish fillets in a preheated oven until they easily flake with a fork and the topping is golden brown, approximately 20 minutes.
