Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.25 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup solid pack pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Add the pumpkin, brown sugar, buttermilk, egg, and butter, and mix until everything is well combined. Transfer the mixture into a 9x5 inch loaf pan and level the top.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
