Easy and healthy fish dish that's perfect for a casual weeknight or special dinner party.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 pound) whole red snapper, cleaned and scaled
  • 3.5 tablespoons grated fresh ginger root
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tomato, seeded and diced
  • 1 lime
  • 0.33333334326744 cup soy sauce
  • 1 lemon
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect bake.
  • Score the fish on each side with slashes using a sharp knife to prevent curling. Arrange the fish in a baking dish. Top each side with ginger, green onions, and tomatoes. Season with sea salt. Place lime slices on top of the fish. Drizzle with soy sauce and lime juice. Add lemon halves to the dish. Cover with foil before baking.
  • Bake the fish until the flesh is opaque and easily flakes with a fork, approximately 20 minutes. Squeeze the baked lemon halves over the fish before serving. To enjoy, start with the top side of the fillet and carefully remove the backbone while guiding the flesh off the bones using a knife for an easier serving method.
