Cozy baked pork chops filled with corn and bread stuffing, topped with savory mushroom sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups whole kernel corn
  • 1.5 cups dry bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 4 thick cut pork chops
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Instructions:
  • Prepare all the ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a medium bowl, blend together corn, bread crumbs, egg, and butter until thoroughly mixed and the mixture is firm.
  • Make a deep horizontal slit in each chop with a paring knife to create a pocket.
  • Stuff each pocket with the corn mixture. Arrange the chops in a baking dish and generously pour the mushroom soup on top.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until the chops reach an internal temperature of at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), approximately 45 minutes.
