Oven-baked stuffed pork chops: seasoned, stuffed, and simply delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 6 (1-inch thick) boneless pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon adobo seasoning
  • 1 (.18 ounce) packet sazon seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.33333334326744 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons Italian dressing, divided
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 0.25 cup margarine
  • 6 (6 ounce) packages dry stuffing mix (such as Stove Top®)
  • toothpicks
  • 1 tablespoon water, or as desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, generously season pork chops with adobo seasoning, sazón seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of Italian dressing and toss to ensure even coating.
  • In a saucepan, bring 1 1/2 cups of water and butter to a boil. Stir in the stuffing mix, cover, and let it sit off the heat for about 5 minutes until the water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork before serving.
  • Take the pork chops out of the bowl, keeping the liquid and seasonings. Place the pork chops on a cutting board and carefully cut a pocket into each chop without fully cutting through. Fill the pocket with stuffing and secure it with a toothpick.
  • Lay pork chops on a baking sheet. Combine 1 tablespoon Italian dressing, 1 tablespoon water, and reserved pork chop juices, then drizzle over the pork chops.
  • Cook the pork chops in the preheated oven until they are fully cooked, for 25 to 35 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the center reaches at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
