Pizza-stuffed cauliflower recipe

Irresistible pizza-stuffed cauliflower: filled with ham, cheese, and passata for a flavorful twist on a classic dish.
Ingredients:
  • 100g shaved ham, finely chopped
  • 150g (1 ½ cups) pre-grated pizza cheese blend
  • 180ml (¾ cup) passata or pasta sauce
  • 1kg whole cauliflower, leaves removed
  • 20.00 ml rice bran or vegetable oil
  • 5.00 gms Italian seasoning
  • 60.00 ml finely grated parmesan
  • Basil leaves, to serve (optional)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Mix together ham, 1 cup of cheese, and passata in a small bowl.
  • Prepare the cauliflower by removing the core and large inner stalks while keeping the florets intact. Brush the florets with oil and sprinkle seasoning. Place the cauliflower in a small roasting tray, cavity-side up. Fill the cavity with the ham mixture, pack it down with a spoon, and top with half of the cheese. Pour 60ml (¼ cup) water into the tray, cover with foil and roast for 45-50 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with remaining cheese and parmesan, then roast for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden and a knife easily pierces the cauliflower.
  • Cut into four perfect wedges and serve promptly.
