Try this addictively easy vegan sesame-soy-ginger baked tofu for a versatile meal addition. Perfect for salads or pasta!
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, or to taste
  • 1 pound tofu, sliced into 8 even pieces
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
  • Combine soy sauce, agave, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a bowl and whisk until well mixed.
  • Pat tofu pieces to remove excess water, then place them on the baking sheet and generously brush with half of the soy mixture.
  • After baking for 30 minutes, flip the tofu and generously brush with the remaining soy mixture. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top and bake for an additional 30 minutes until the tofu is perfectly crisp.
  • Transfer the tofu from the oven to a wire rack using a spatula to cool.
