Indulge in a decadent treat by layering fresh banana slices, rich hot fudge, and creamy ice cream for a timeless dessert with a twist.
Ingredients:
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 100g (1/2 cup, firmly packed) brown sugar
  • 125mls (1/2 cup) thin cream
  • 20.00 gm cocoa powder
  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1L vanilla ice-cream
  • 80g (1/2 cup) chocolate-coated peanuts, roughly chopped
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan, gently melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the brown sugar, cream, and cocoa powder, cooking over low heat for 3 minutes until the mixture is smooth and fully blended. Take the sauce off the heat and allow it to sit for 30 minutes until it reaches your preferred thickness.
  • Divide the bananas evenly among 4 serving glasses. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of sauce over the bananas. Add 2 scoops of ice cream to each glass. Drizzle the remaining sauce over the ice cream. Sprinkle with chocolate-coated peanuts. Serve immediately.
