Indulgent vegan chocolate cookies with whole wheat flour, coconut oil, and ripe banana for easy, fudgy perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 0.66666668653488 cup white sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup brown sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup mashed banana
  • 7 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 5 tablespoons coconut oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  • In a saucepan, mix the sugars and mashed banana. Heat on low and stir in cocoa powder and coconut oil. Continue cooking and stirring until smooth and well combined, about 5 minutes.
  • Pour the flour mixture into the pan and blend until a cohesive dough forms. Use a spoon to place dollops of dough 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes until edges turn golden brown.
  • Transfer to a wire rack to cool after baking.
