Indulgent French toast with chocolate milk batter, topped with bananas and Nutella. Perfect for breakfast or dessert!
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella®)
  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 0.25 cup chocolate milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
  • Spread a luscious layer of chocolate-hazelnut spread on one side of each slice of bread. Adorn two of the slices with sweet banana slices, then top with the remaining slices to create two irresistible sandwiches.
  • In a bowl, vigorously whisk chocolate milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined. Dip sandwiches in the mixture, making sure to coat them completely, and flip as needed.
  • In a large skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter. Cook sandwiches in the hot butter until both sides are golden brown and the banana and chocolate spread have softened, about 4 to 6 minutes per side.
