Try this quick and easy banana cream bowl for a delicious twist on a classic favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup firm butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1 box (4-serving size) banana instant pudding and pie filling mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 3 ripe medium bananas, sliced
  • 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Combine flour and brown sugar in a medium bowl. Use a pastry blender to cut in butter until the mixture resembles crumbs. Add peanuts and mix well. Press the mixture evenly onto the bottom of an ungreased 9-inch square pan. Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Break up the mixture with a spoon and let it cool completely for about 1 hour.
  • Prepare the pudding mix in a large bowl as instructed on the box using 2 cups of milk. In a 2-quart serving bowl, create layers with half of the crumb mixture, pudding, bananas, and whipped topping, repeating the layers. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Garnish with extra peanuts if desired and keep stored in the fridge.
