Bake whole wheat and oats soaked in milk with bananas, raisins, and brown sugar for a deliciously sweet treat.
Ingredients:
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2.5 cups lowfat milk
  • 0.25 cup butter, softened
  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 0.33300000429153 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup raisins
Instructions:
  • Break the bread into small pieces in a large bowl. Add oats and milk, then stir to combine. Allow the mixture to stand for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
  • Add the butter, bananas, brown sugar, and raisins (if using) to the milk mixture. Gently mix together and pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the pudding has set. Allow to cool before serving.
