Indulge in a delicious, fuss-free upside-down banana tart with a tropical twist.
Ingredients:
  • 30g butter, finely chopped
  • 32.00 gm brown sugar
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 2 small bananas, peeled, cut into 1cm-thick slices
  • 1 sheet (25 x 25cm) ready-rolled frozen butter puff pastry, just thawed
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 210°C. Divide the butter evenly among four 250ml (1-cup) ramekins. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, then layer the banana slices in an overlapping pattern on top.
  • Cut 4 discs from the pastry using a 10cm-diameter cutter. Cover the banana with the discs, folding the edges to seal the filling. Bake until golden, about 20 minutes. Serve on plates with a side of ice-cream.
