Buttermilk banana Bundt cake with toasted walnuts for a delectable treat.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.75 cup 1% buttermilk
  • 2 cups mashed ripe bananas
  • 1 cup chopped toasted walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease and flour a fluted tube pan, like a Bundt pan.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to combine butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Gradually blend in sugar until fully incorporated.
  • In a separate medium bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg. Gently mix with a fork. Gradually add 1/3 of the flour mixture to the egg mixture without overmixing. Alternate adding buttermilk and the remaining flour mixture, ending with flour mixture, until combined. Fold in bananas and walnuts until just incorporated. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Carefully transfer the hot cake to a separate plate and allow it to cool.
