Irresistible banana split muffins with a twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (12.3 oz) Betty Crocker™ Banana Nut Muffin & Quick Bread Mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Ice cream
  • 12 bananas
  • Ice-cream topping
  • Sweetened whipped cream
  • Maraschino cherry, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F and line 12 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups or simply grease the bottoms of the muffin cups.
  • Combine the muffin mix, water, oil, and egg in a medium bowl, stirring just until well blended. Fill each muffin cup evenly with the batter.
  • Bake until beautifully golden brown, then let cool.
  • Prepare a delightful serving by halving 1 muffin and placing it on a dessert plate. Top it with a scoop of ice cream. Cut a banana in half crosswise and then lengthwise. Arrange the banana around the ice cream. Spoon the topping over the ice cream and banana. Finish by garnishing with whipped cream and a cherry.
