Spicy Sriracha chili meatballs: the perfect game day appetizer with a sweet and fiery kick.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 0.5 pound ground chicken
  • 0.5 pound ground pork
  • 0.5 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried chives
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.33333334326744 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 0.5 carrot, grated
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 20 toothpicks
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) and grease a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, mix together chicken, pork, bread crumbs, two eggs, sriracha sauce, garlic powder, chives, salt, and pepper until evenly combined. Shape into 20 meatballs and arrange on a baking sheet.
  • Place in the preheated oven for 8 minutes, then flip and continue cooking until the centers are no longer pink, about 6 minutes more.
  • While waiting, prepare the sauce by combining mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha sauce, and rice vinegar in a large bowl. Let the meatballs cool for 2 minutes after removing them from the oven.
  • Coat meatballs delicately with sauce. Present beautifully on a plate, topping with carrot and cilantro. Skewer each meatball with a toothpick for easy serving.
