Whip up a quick and tasty pan-fried bread using flour, baking powder, salt, water, and melted butter. Enjoy with honey or jam as a delicious side to eggs, chili, or soup.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Drizzle water and melted butter over the flour mixture, then use a fork to mix until a dough ball forms.
  • Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently around 10 times. Shape it into a flat circle that is 3/4 to 1-inch thick.
  • Heat a greased frying pan over medium heat until warm.
  • Transfer the dough to the hot pan and cook for about 15 minutes on each side until beautifully browned, using two lifters for effortless flipping.
