Banoffee sundae

Easy banoffee sundae with delicious ice cream, perfect for parties.
Ingredients:
  • 6 medium bananas
  • 200 g full-fat Greek yoghurt
  • 1 good pinch ground cinnamon
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey depending on how ripe the bananas are
  • 50 g raisins
  • 3 tablespoons dark rum
  • 50 g good-quality dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids)
  • 50 g hazelnuts
  • 4 tablespoons dulce de leche
Instructions:
  • Prepare the night before by chilling a shallow dish and 6 dessert glasses in the freezer. Slice 4 bananas and blend them in a food processor with yogurt, cinnamon, honey, raisins, and rum until smooth. Optionally, soak raisins in rum before blending. Place the mixture in the chilled dish and freeze for about five hours. On serving day, grate chocolate, chop hazelnuts, toast nuts, and heat dulce de leche until runny. Slice the remaining bananas. Layer sliced bananas, banana ice cream, runny dulce de leche, hazelnuts, and dark chocolate in the chilled glasses. Enjoy the sundae!
