BBQ chicken sliders with veggie-packed sauce - ideal for summer feasts!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (4 oz) 100% butternut squash purée
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons real maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 8 mini sandwich buns (slider buns)
Instructions:
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, bring the Sauce ingredients to a boil over medium heat, stirring often. Reduce the heat and simmer for 3 minutes, continuing to stir frequently.
  • Coat chicken evenly and heat gently over low heat, stirring frequently until hot.
  • Place a generous 1/4 cup of the delicious chicken mixture onto the bottom half of each bun, then cap it off with the top half of the bun.
