Brine ribs in flavorful mix of pink curing salt, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and pork seasoning for juicy, tasty BBQ ribs.
Ingredients:
  • 2 gallons water
  • 1 cup pork seasoning (such as Fraboni's® Porketta®)
  • 1 cup garlic powder
  • 1 cup onion powder
  • 4 ounces pink speed-cure salt
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, combine water, brown sugar, pork seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and curing salt. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally, until seasonings are fully dissolved, about 20-30 minutes.
  • Ensure the brine is completely chilled before introducing the meat.
