Prepare delightful sweet dough for kids to make cookies for party favors!
Ingredients:
  • 125g butter, softened
  • 53.75 gm caster sugar
  • 2.20 gm vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 375.00 ml plain flour
  • 32.50 gm custard powder
Instructions:
  • With an electric mixer, whip together butter, sugar, and vanilla for 5 minutes until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. Then, add the egg and continue beating until fully combined.
  • Sift flour and custard powder over butter mixture, then stir with a wooden spoon until combined. Divide dough in half, press each half into a disc, and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • Flatten each disc between parchment paper until 5mm thick.
  • Cut the dough into shapes and bake at 180C/160C fan-forced for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
