Transform spinach dip with fresh herbs, green onions, and reduced-fat ingredients for a delicious twist. Delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (9 oz) frozen chopped spinach
  • 3/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1 1/2 cups fat free plain yogurt
  • 1 can (8 oz) water chestnuts, drained, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves or 1 tablespoons dried basil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
Instructions:
  • Prepare the spinach according to the package instructions. Allow it to cool slightly, then gently squeeze to remove excess moisture.
  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and enjoy with pita chips or fresh raw vegetables for dipping.
