Savory bacon pairs perfectly with kidney beans and crisp cabbage in a delicious, creamy vinaigrette salad.
Ingredients:
  • 10 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1.5 cups shredded cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.33333334326744 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 dash ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Fry the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until it's crispy. Remove from skillet, let it cool, then crumble it.
  • Combine the vinegar, mayonnaise, and sugar in a small bowl and whisk until well blended.
  • Combine the bacon, kidney beans, cabbage, celery, parsley, and onion in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper, then drizzle the vinegar dressing over the salad and toss well to coat. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
