Quick and delicious family favorite ready in just 30 minutes, great for busy weeknights!
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 8 thick beef sausages
  • 1 large brown onion, chopped
  • 2 x 400g cans chopped tomatoes
  • 140g tub tomato paste
  • 400g can butter beans, drained, rinsed
  • 100g pitted kalamata olives
  • 62.50 ml basil leaves, chopped
Instructions:
  • In a medium heat frying pan with oil, cook sausages for 8 minutes, turning occasionally until they are nicely browned. Then, set them aside for later.
  • Sauté onion and garlic in a frying pan, stirring occasionally, until softened for about 2 minutes.
  • Combine sausages, tomatoes, tomato paste, beans, and olives in a frying pan, then cover and cook for 20 minutes or until fully cooked. Mix in fresh basil, season to taste, and optionally transfer to a heatproof casserole dish before serving.
