Irresistibly gooey baked Camembert paired with crusty bread for dipping is a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients:
  • 250 g Camembert
  • 1 clove garlic
  • a few tips fresh rosemary
  • olive oil
  • bite-sized pieces bread stale
  • a few sprigs rosemary
  • 1 tiny pinch sea salt
  • 1 small handful dried cranberries
  • 1 small handful mixed nuts
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC/350ºF/gas mark 4. 2. Score around the top of a 250g Camembert about ½cm in and remove the top layer of skin. 3. Finely slice a peeled garlic clove and insert it into the top of the cheese along with a few fresh rosemary tips. 4. Drizzle with olive oil and bake in the hot oven for 15 to 20 minutes until oozy. 5. Thread bite-sized pieces of stale bread onto stripped woody rosemary sprigs. 6. Drizzle bread with olive oil, a pinch of sea salt, then place on a tray and cook with the Camembert. 7. Finely chop a small handful of dried cranberries and mixed nuts and place in a bowl. 8. Once the bread skewers are golden and crisp and the cheese is oozy, arrange everything on a board. 9. Dip toasted bread into the warm cheese and then into the cranberries and nuts mixture. Enjoy!
