Effortlessly combine beef, bacon, and veggies in a quick casserole with uncooked noodles.
Ingredients:
  • 4 slices bacon, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
  • 1 1/2 lb beef stew meat
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppered seasoned salt
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 1 1/2 cups baby-cut carrots
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano, undrained
  • 1 jar (12 oz) beef gravy
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups uncooked wide egg noodles (4 oz)
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen whole green beans (from 14-oz bag)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 325°F and generously coat a 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a 12-inch nonstick skillet, sizzle bacon over medium-high heat for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add beef, seasoned salt, and onion. Cook, stirring occasionally, until beef is nicely browned.
  • Transfer the flavorful beef mixture to a baking dish. Gently combine with carrots, tomatoes, gravy, and water. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes until tender.
  • Combine the noodles and green beans into the mixture. Cover and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the beef, noodles, and beans are tender.
