Beef burger with fresh tomato salsa recipe

Delight your family with mouthwatering beef burgers topped with vibrant tomato salsa.
Ingredients:
  • 500g pkt Beef Thyme and Parsley Burgers
  • 4 Tasty Light Cheddar Slices
  • 2 vine-ripened tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 4.60 gm olive oil
  • 4 Multigrain Bread Rolls*, split, toasted
  • 60g pkt Baby Rocket
  • 8 drained canned beetroot slices
  • Halved dill cucumbers, to serve (optional)
Instructions:
  • Preheat a chargrill over medium-high heat. Grill the burger patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until they are just cooked through. Add a slice of cheese on top of each patty and continue grilling without flipping for 1-2 minutes until the cheese starts to melt.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the tomato, onion, and oil. Season to taste.
  • Arrange the roll bases on serving plates. Layer with rocket, beetroot, and burger patties. Drizzle the tomato mixture on top and finish with the roll tops. Serve promptly with cucumber, if desired.
