Asian-style pasta with mixed vegetables, juicy flank steak, and flavorful spaghetti - a quick and delicious homemade meal in under an hour.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package spaghetti
  • 1 teaspoon dark sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root
  • 4 cups mixed vegetables
  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Asian chile paste with garlic
Instructions:
  • Boil a generous amount of salted water. Cook spaghetti until al dente, around 12 minutes. Drain and transfer to a bowl. Drizzle with sesame oil and mix well. Cover with a plate to keep warm.
  • In a heated wok or large skillet, sauté fragrant garlic and ginger in peanut oil. Add mixed vegetables and stir until slightly tender. Incorporate flank steak into the mix and cook until beef is done.
  • Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, and chile paste in a small bowl. Pour the sauce over the spaghetti in the wok with the vegetables and steak. Stir and cook until the spaghetti is hot, for about 2 to 3 minutes.
