Quick and easy miso ramen with steak - perfect for busy days!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) beef sirloin steak
  • 0.5 cup gluten-free soy sauce (tamari)
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons miso paste
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages ramen noodles
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Place the steak in a plastic container with a lid and pour in the soy sauce. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours to marinate.
  • Remove the steak from the marinade, allowing the excess to drip off, and dispose of the rest of the marinade.
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat coconut oil. Cook the steak for 3 to 4 minutes per side until it is firm, reddish-pink, and juicy in the center. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 130 degrees F (54 degrees C) for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  • While the steak rests, prepare the flavorful broth in a saucepan by combining broth, miso paste, garlic, and sesame oil over medium heat until boiling gently. Add ramen noodles and cook for about 3 minutes until soft. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Divide the broth and noodles between 2 bowls, then slice the steak and arrange on top.
