"Beef steak slices cooked to perfection tableside in piping hot broth for a comforting classic soup."
Ingredients:
  • 1530.00 gm beef style liquid stock
  • 5cm piece ginger, peeled, thinly sliced
  • 6 green onions, sliced diagonally
  • 2 carrots, peeled, halved, sliced diagonally
  • 1 small red capsicum, deseeded, thinly sliced diagonally
  • 180g green beans, sliced diagonally
  • 30.00 ml kecap manis
  • 33.00 gm sweet chilli sauce
  • 150g rice stick noodles
  • 200g beef fillet steak, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, combine stock, ginger, and half of the onions. Bring to a boil over high heat, then cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove and discard the ginger before proceeding.
  • Add carrots, bell peppers, and beans to the pot. Let it come to a boil without covering. Let the vegetables cook for an additional 2 minutes until tender. Take the pot off the heat and mix in the rest of the onions, sweet soy sauce, and sweet chili sauce.
  • In a heatproof bowl, place noodles and cover with boiling water. Let stand for 5 minutes until tender, then drain. Divide noodles between bowls and top with raw beef. Pour boiling soup mixture over the dish and serve.
