Delicious beef bolognese ravioli made with easy-to-use pastry wrappers.
Ingredients:
  • 500.00 ml bolognaise sauce (from Spaghetti Bolognaise)
  • 275g packet gow gee pastry wrappers
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • Mutti Polpa Finely Chopped Tomatoes 400g
  • 7.65 gm beef style stock powder
  • 187.50 gm water
  • 82.50 ml shredded fresh basil leaves
  • extra fresh basil leaves, to garnish
Instructions:
  • Spoon 1 1/2 teaspoons of bolognaise sauce onto the center of each of the 15 gow gee wrappers. Lightly brush the edges with water, then place another wrapper on top and press to seal. Arrange in a single layer on 2 lined trays.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté onions and garlic until golden for 4 to 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, stock, and water, then bring to a boil.
  • Simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and gently fold in fresh basil.
  • 1. Boil a large saucepan of salted water. Drop in the ravioli and cook for 2 minutes. Drain and top with sauce. Finish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
