Lettuce wraps filled with flavorful Asian minced meat - perfect as an appetizer or a light meal.
Ingredients:
  • 9.20 gm peanut oil
  • 600g lean beef mince
  • 250ml Satay Sauce
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled, grated
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 8 iceberg lettuce leaves, trimmed (see tip)
  • Steamed jasmine rice, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a wok over medium-high heat, cook mince in oil until browned, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add sauce and stir-fry until thickened, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Sauté carrot and onion until carrot is tender. Fill lettuce leaves with the mixture and serve with rice.
