Grilled beef sausages with smoky glaze and seasonal veggies - a crowd-pleasing family meal.
Ingredients:
  • 500g pkt Australian Angus Beef Sausages with Garlic & Parsley
  • 4 medium Red Royale potatoes
  • 2 large zucchini, thickly sliced
  • 1 red capsicum, cut into 2cm-wide strips
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
  • 45.20 gm barbecue sauce
  • 20.80 gm tomato sauce
  • 21.00 gm lemon juice
  • 1.25 gm smoked paprika
Instructions:
  • Place potatoes on a tray lined with paper towels, cover with another paper towel, and microwave on HIGH for 4-5 minutes until just tender. Cut potatoes lengthwise into thick slices, then mix with zucchini, capsicum, garlic, and oil in a bowl, tossing to coat evenly.
  • In a microwave-safe jug, mix together the barbecue sauce, tomato sauce, lemon juice, and paprika. Heat in the microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds or until warm. Brush half of the glaze onto the sausages.
  • Preheat a barbecue or chargrill plate to medium heat. Cook the sausages, brushing with glaze, for 3-4 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  • Grill the vegetables on the barbecue until lightly charred and tender, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Plate the sausages alongside the grilled vegetables for a stunning presentation.
