Lighter version of beef stroganoff made with sirloin steak, mushroom soup, paprika, and nonfat sour cream for a creamy, tasty meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite size strips
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1.5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1.25 cups fat free sour cream
  • 1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the steak strips until browned; then drain excess fat. Add onion and sauté until tender, about 5 minutes. Mix in flour, salt, paprika, and black pepper.
  • Combine soup in the pot and lower the heat to medium-low, allowing it to simmer for 15 minutes. Finish off by incorporating the sour cream.
  • Cook the egg noodles as instructed on the package. Serve the beef stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles.
