Whip up a quick soy-ginger marinade, coat beef skewers, then grill in minutes for a effortless and flavorful meal. Perfect for marinating while at work and grilling upon your return.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cubed
Instructions:
  • Combine soy sauce, oil, lemon juice, sesame seeds, sugar, green onions, garlic, and ginger in a glass or plastic bowl, and whisk until well blended.
  • Skewer the meat. If using wooden skewers, soak for 30 minutes. Place in a snug plastic or glass container, pour over marinade, coat well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  • Preheat the grill on high heat and place the grate 5 inches away from the coals.
  • Oil the grate and place the skewers on the grill. Cook for 10-15 minutes, rotating periodically for even doneness.
