Comforting beer sausage stew with potatoes, carrots, smoked sausage, and cabbage simmered in beer for a delicious twist. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
  • 4 red potatoes, quartered
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 (8 ounce) package baby carrots
  • 0.5 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 pound smoked kielbasa sausage, cut into 1-inch slices
  • 1 small head cabbage, quartered
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, bring beer to a boil over medium heat. Layer potatoes at the bottom and season with Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Add baby carrots, onion, smoked sausage, and cabbage in layers, seasoning each layer with more Italian seasonings, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 45 minutes until vegetables are tender.
