Savory kielbasa and cabbage cooked in beer and butter for a simple and delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 0.5 medium head cabbage, cut into chunks
  • 1 (16 ounce) package kielbasa sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can beer
  • ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Begin by melting butter in a pot over medium heat. Sauté cabbage until tender in the butter for about 5 minutes. Next, introduce sausage and beer to the cabbage. Season with pepper and let it simmer until the sausage casings start to shrink, approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to drain the liquid from the mixture before serving.
