Whip up a quick and cozy haluski dish with bacon, noodles, and cabbage in just 30 minutes with only five ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 (16 ounce) package egg noodles
  • 1 head cabbage, sliced
Instructions:
  • Cut the bacon into small pieces using a pair of kitchen scissors. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until crispy, approximately 10 minutes. Add the onion and continue cooking and stirring until translucent, about 5 minutes more. Set aside the bacon and onion, keeping the flavorful drippings in the skillet.
  • 1. Boil a pot of salted water until it simmers gently. Add egg noodles and cook, stirring occasionally, until al dente, about 5 minutes. Drain well.
  • Combine the bacon and onion mixture with its drippings in the pot where you cooked the noodles. Stir in the cabbage until coated with the drippings. Cover and cook until the cabbage is tender, about 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Gently fold in the noodles and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
