Instant Pot Haluski: Quick and easy family favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 5 cups water
  • 1 (12 ounce) package medium egg noodles
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 pound bacon, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 head cabbage, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 pinch seasoning blend (such as Morton® Nature's Seasons® Seasoning Blend), or to taste
Instructions:
  • Place water, noodles, and salt in a multi-functional pressure cooker like an Instant Pot. Gently press noodles down with a spoon. Lock the lid and set on high pressure for 1 minute following the manufacturer's guidelines. Let pressure build for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Allow the pressure to release naturally for 6 minutes as per the manufacturer's instructions. Then, unlock the lid and set the noodles aside.
  • Start by browning bacon in the Instant Pot on the Saute function until crispy, for about 5 to 7 minutes. Keep the flavorful grease in the pot, then add butter and stir until melted. Next, mix in garlic, cabbage, and onion before sealing the lid securely.
  • Follow manufacturer's instructions to choose high pressure setting, then set the timer for 5 minutes. Let pressure build for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • To release pressure, follow the quick-release method as per the manufacturer's instructions, then carefully unlock and remove the lid. Stir in the egg noodles and seasoning blend.
