Instant Pot Oxtail Broth: Essential for robust Asian soups, richly flavorful and effortlessly made.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds oxtail
  • 3 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 7 cups water
Instructions:
  • Position the oven rack 6 inches below the heat source and preheat the broiler.
  • Arrange oxtail pieces on a baking sheet and broil in a preheated oven until beautifully browned, about 5 to 7 minutes per side.
  • Add oxtail to your Instant Pot, sprinkle with green onions, garlic, and ginger, then cover with water. Lock the lid, select high pressure for 60 minutes, and let the pressure build for 10-15 minutes.
  • Allow the pressure to release naturally following the manufacturer's guidelines for 10 to 40 minutes. Unlock and lift the lid. Cool the broth completely. Strain the broth into a container, disposing of oxtail pieces, green onions, and garlic.
