Easy and quick apple-cinnamon cake using just 5 ingredients. Perfect for sharing with 12 servings. Top with vanilla or cinnamon ice cream for a delicious fall treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Delights Super Moist™ Spice Cake Mix
  • 1 can (21 oz) more fruit apple pie filling
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Cool Whip frozen whipped topping, thawed, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan) and generously coat the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer on low speed to blend the dry cake mix, pie filling, and eggs for 2 minutes until a thick batter forms. Spread half of the batter in the pan. Combine sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle half over the batter. Repeat with the remaining batter and sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  • Bake for 28 to 32 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool completely for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Serve with whipped topping and store loosely covered.
