Indulgent berry sundae drizzled with white chocolate sauce. Delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 40.00 gm caster sugar
  • 2 x 250g punnets strawberries, hulled, sliced widthways
  • 200g fresh raspberries or frozen raspberries
  • 2 litres vanilla ice-cream
  • 300ml pouring cream
  • 250g white chocolate, finely chopped
  • 20.00 ml Cognac or brandy (optional)
Instructions:
  • To make white chocolate sauce, warm cream in a saucepan over medium heat until almost boiling. Take the pan off the heat, then add chocolate and stir until completely melted and smooth. For a grown-up touch, mix in Cognac or brandy. Pour the sauce into a jug and refrigerate until cold.
  • Blend half of the strawberries and the sugar in a food processor until smooth.
  • In a 2 cup-capacity dessert glass, layer raspberries, sliced strawberries, ice-cream, berries, strawberry sauce, and white chocolate sauce. Repeat in 5 more glasses. Serve promptly.
